Hi! I’m Vanessa Harris, P.E. , an environmental engineer turned fashion designer and wheelchair user. I also shoot videos for my website https://www.fun4thedisabled.com. The website is for the ability challenged and their friends and families so that they can enjoy life.
I love color, texture, and making myself and my clients beautiful. When I can take a gorgeous piece of fabric like silk and make a simple shawl that I can wear anywhere and look stunning, I want to share my happiness with everyone. Its my desire for everyone to feel simply divine in their shawls.
My shawls can change the look of any outfit in an instant and can be worn an infinite number of ways. They can be worn with evening dresses, any after-five look, with business suits to snap them up, and even to church. I like to wear them to special VIP performances, and even to brunch at elegant restaurants where I can sip raspberry lemonade instead of merlot.
The shawls that are available for purchase this season are limited edition and when they sell out, they’re gone. So make sure you get the ones you want early.
The next area I’ll be working on is using virtual reality and augmented reality to help people find ways to envision an entire outfit on their own silhouette with their own coloring, and to feel sheer joy when they experience the caress of a particular texture against their skin. This is something that I have been working on and dreaming about for a long time.
If you have any suggestions, or comments, they are welcomed. Drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or head over to the contact page and leave me a message there!
